DOOMSCROLLING has a list called New Words We Created Because of Coronavirus. 

Doomscrolling or doomsurfing made the list 

 Doomscrolling: The tendancy to continue to surf or scroll through bad news even though that news is sadding. - the endless scrolling down one's news apps, Twitter and social media and reading bad news. 

 While we are hard-wired and drawn to seek out the negatives to learn how to avoid dangersand survive,these are modern times. Doomscrolling can actually make you feel extra anzious, depressed and isolated. 

 How to stop?? 

 Limit your time on social media - say 15 minutes - then put your phone down and don't look at it the rest of the day.
 Look for positives - 3 things a day 
 Be nice to people. 
Do nice things for people. 
Let the person who cut you off go ahead and give them the benefit of the doubt. 
 Be mindful.
 Reach out to friends and family.

Life is not in your phone.
Life is happening all around you
Lift your eyes and heart 
Stop  Doomscrolling
